Here are some tips for taking the test:

1.  while the actual date of your Asvab exam, you should only take a light meal. Having a full stomach will not help you couple more on the questions
2.  Be ready with all the supplies you need such as pencils and erasers. You can also bring your own watch so you can monitor the time on your own.
3.  Make sure that you arrive at the testing town at least 10 minutes before the schedule.
4.  If you are not in a favorable health condition, advise the proctor right away so you can ask for a reschedule rather than continue taking the test and risking your chances of getting a good score.
5.  Do not drink too many liquids since going to the restroom will finally eat up the time allocated for the exam.
6.  Stay calm. Panicking will not do you any good.
7.  Read the instructions carefully and focus on the entire test. Set aside your other thoughts and worries. Understand the questions as to how they are presented. Do not give them your own interpretation.

It sounds like a lot but most of it is just coarse sense. We want you to be ready and not sabotage yourself with poor choices and preparation.  Good luck on the test and be sure to get some practice before you show up at the testing center.
